Have your personal details changed? You can use the web-based employee portal in protected page ETHIS to view, maintain and update your personal and employment data. Please remember to make changes in time. Thank you!
Please report a change in marital status via ETHIS. If your name has changed, you will receive a new staff identity card (ETH card) and a new social security card.
If you have obtained a type C permanent residence permit or Swiss citizenship, please inform us via ETHIS. If you have a C permit or become a naturalised citizen, you are exempt from the obligation to pay withholding tax. You will be subject to the ordinary tax procedures for your place of residence.
In ETHIS you can add a additional nationality or an additional place of origin (for Swiss citizens).
Please update your address details directly in the ETH People Search database or via ETHIS in good time – this will ensure you receive your post promptly.
Please use ETHIS to change the details of the Swiss bank or postal account in which you receive your salary.
If you have suffered an accident, please report it by filling in the protected page online form. Accidents must be reported in order for the assumption of costs for medication or medical treatment to be settled with SUVA.

Have you recently become a parent? Congratulations! Please inform us of the birth of your child via ETHIS and upload a copy of the birth certificate. The Family page will give you further helpful information.

If you are insured with PUBLICA, you can pay additional voluntary savings contributions. To do this, there are two supplementary pension plans to choose from. You have the option to conclude, change or terminate a pension plan via ETHIS.

Comprehensive data protection is a major concern for ETH Zurich. VPPL is aware of the importance of data protection and complies with the applicable regulations and guidelines. This particularly relates to the processing of sensitive data, such as medical information or personal passwords, or the obligation to retain records.
