Problems with DFS paths (NAS) Update 14/12/25 8:30 p.m.: We have been able to restore part of the system. Group shares (\\d.ethz.ch\groups) are available again. Personal user shares (\\d.ethz.ch\users) are still unavailable. Update 13.12.25 4:30 p.m.: Status unchanged, we are continuing to work with the manufacturer on a solution. Update 12/12/25 2:30 p.m.: The problem persists. We are working with the manufacturer to analyze and resolve the issue as a matter of high priority. Unfortunately, we cannot say when the problem will be solved. Power/network outage Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 5:30 a.m. throughout the entire ET area On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, due to the annual network switchover, there will be a 10-second power outage at 5:30 a.m. throughout the entire ET area. The following buildings are affected: ETF, ETL, ETZ, GLC, HAA, HAC. ANNOUNCEMENT: NAS22 efix installation at H?nggerberg location from 16.12.2025 7 pm until 16.12.2025 10 pm We have observed malfunctions on the Spectrum Scale system (NAS22) at the H?nggerberg site. This is partially limiting the stability and performance of operations. We are therefore planning to install eFix (emergency fix) on December 16, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. During this action, short interruptions must be expected for the NAS service at the H?nggerberg site.
